Metamagic - Sumatra Bener Meriah Mandheling Gr1 | 12oz/340g
Sumatra is an island in Indonesia known for it's dense tropical terrain, smoldering volcanoes and unique coffee beans. This particular bean is said to have several earthy notes that are reminiscent of those found in scotch and whiskey. After Dutch colonialists brought the coffee plant to Indonesia in 1699, coffee production quickly took off. Coffee was exported from the Indonesian island of Java and it didn't take long for “java” to become synonymous with coffee since it was on all of the exported bags of beans.
